Melanie Larzul is an associate in the Oakland office. Her areas of interest include special education and student issues, labor and employment, and litigation.
Ms. Larzul received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of San Diego in 2009 and is a member of the Order of the Coif. While in law school, she gained valuable experience in the area of special education law working as a summer intern at the firm’s Oakland office and at her law school’s special education clinic. She also handled a variety of labor and employment issues as an intern with San Diego Unified School District’s Legal Services Office. Additionally, Ms. Larzul externed for the Honorable Napoleon A. Jones Jr. of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
Prior to law school, Ms. Larzul received her B.A. in Political Science and French, cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2005 and worked as an English teaching assistant in France.
