Vivian L. Haun is a senior associate in the Los Angeles Office.  She specializes in student and special education law.  In her practice, Ms. Haun has represented school districts at special education due process hearings and mediations, as well as in student discipline matters.  Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Haun was a judicial extern for the Honorable A. Wallace Tashima of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal; a summer clerk with another California education law firm; an intern with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's Litigation Unit; and a volunteer advocate for Public Counsel, Children’s Rights Project.  She also served as an Assistant Dean of Admissions at Occidental College in Los Angeles prior to law school.

Ms. Haun received her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, her A.M. from Stanford University in Education Administration and Policy Analysis, and her B.A. from Pomona College.  In law school, Ms. Haun was a member of the Moot Court Honors, a teaching assistant for Lawyering Skills and a teaching fellow for Constitutional Law.  She was admitted to the California State Bar in 2005.
