Melissa Hatch is an associate in the Los Angeles office.  She has over twenty years of practical experience working in the legal field.  For the past nine years, Ms. Hatch assisted school districts in the areas of special education and student issues.  She has successfully represented school districts in mediations and settlement negotiations.  Ms. Hatch's experience also includes assisting school district staff in the IEP process, administrative due process hearings, and appeals to the United States District Court and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. 

Ms. Hatch received her Juris Doctorate degree from Ventura College of Law in 2006, graduating with honors in the top five of her class.
