Emily E. Sugrue is a senior associate in the Oakland office.  She specializes in special education and charter schools.  She represents school districts in IEP meetings and mediations.  Prior to joining the firm, she was an associate with another California education law firm.  Before moving to California in 2005, Ms. Sugrue was an associate at Cahill, Gordon & Reindel, LLP and at Barger & Wolen, LLP, both in New York.

Ms. Sugrue is a member of the California State Bar and the New York State Bar.  She received her J.D. in 2002 from New York University School of Law and her B.A. in 1999 from Dartmouth College.
